My Work

Since the onset of the 2024 season, I’ve written the twice-weekly Top of the Order column at FanGraphs, and also occasionally write about contract and payroll minutia that falls outside of the scope of that column.

Tracking everything in spreadsheets has always been my go-to; it’s just how my brain works. Organizing data in rows and columns while making it visually appealing and easy to understand is my forte, best shown in the Offseason Matrices document that I create every year. Data is only as good as the person displaying and explaining it, and I take great pride in making complex topics and large amounts of information easily understood and digestible.

The biggest change in my career in 2024 has been to make myself more publicly available and work the media circuit a little bit. My favorite appearance was on Foul Territory, where I talked with former players Erik Kratz and Todd Frazier.

I’ve also appeared multiple times on Blue Jays Talk with Blake Murphy, which I suppose makes me internationally recognized!
